Shara Ross
Inspired to put on the canvas an emotional outpouring in a language only I can speak, a hidden code that can be viewed, but not cracked. However, when translated by another, and they uncover the mysterious message and I am astounded by the language of art, creativity, and the soul. When someone can see into the deeper meanings behind my work I know it is that which draws me to paint.
Since 1994, Shara Ross has worked as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator providing her various clients with creative expertise in print communications and web development. She offers creative services in set-design, print layout for brochures, catalogues, package design and corporate branding, as well as illustration for instruction booklets, package design and chldren's books.
Her clients have included both large and small companies, such as Sears Canada, St. Joseph's Printing, Quebecor, Bell and Ben Wicks and Associates.
In 2001 Shara wrote and illustrated a children's book titled 'Will'. In 2009 a full fiction novel soon to be released, as well as three self-help guides written for women pertaining to achieving heightened intimacy.
Ms. Ross graduated with honours in graphic design from Humber College as well as attending Sheridan College for animation studies.
She currently lives and works in Hamilton, Ontario.
